Welcome to the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois! We are pleased you are interested in joining the organized blind movement.
We can’t wait to meet you! While paying membership dues is a great start, it doesn’t automatically complete your membership. We want to personally guide you through the remaining steps and answer any questions you may have along the way. Please reach out to Marilyn Green, president of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois at president@nfbofillinois.org to learn about our new member onboarding process. We’re here to connect with you and to provide the resources you need so that you can live the life you want.
If you’re already a member, visit your member profile at or reach out to your chapter president to verify your membership status. We accept membership dues for up to two (2) consecutive calendar years (current year plus the following year) for efficient record keeping and member management. Any amount paid beyond that will be acknowledged as a generous donation to support the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois. Please reach out to president@nfbofillinois.org with questions.
Our state wide at large chapter is a great networking tool for blind and low vision people throughout Illinois. Dues are $2 per year, but you can pay up to two years at a time. We meet via Zoom each month on the first Sunday at 7:00 pm.
For more information, please contact: David Meyer, President Phone: 708-606-7091 Email: datemeyer@mysero.net
